When you arrive atPortillo (album), the oldest ski resort in South America, we will witness the beauty of the Laguna del Inca. Here you will learn about the touching love legend of the Inca prince Illi Yupanqui, who, according to tradition, gave the turquoise color to these waters. We will enjoy time to walk, take pictures and then have lunch in an environment surrounded by mountains (cost not included).         • Altitude: The tour reaches 2,800 meters in height. It is recommended to hydrate well and avoid heavy meals before the ascent.
        • Climate: In winter (June-September), the use of chains is mandatory and the route may be closed due to snowstorms. We constantly monitor the road condition.
        • Frontera: We didn't cross into Argentina; the tour reaches the Hotel Portillo sector.
        What to bring
          • Outerwear: Even in summer, the temperature in the high mountains can be low.
          • Comfortable footwear: Ideally with a non-slip sole if there is snow or for walking on the shore.
          • Sun protection: Sunglasses, sunscreen and lip balm (radiation is high in height).
